What to Expect
OCC is located at 717 NE 36th Ave. Ocala, FL 34470
We begin our time of worship at 10:30 am and it lasts a little over an hour.
What should I wear?
When you visit OCC, you’ll see many dressed casual, and some semi-formal. The key is to wear what you are most comfortable with. It’s more important that you come with the right attitude than with the right clothing!
What is the service like?
While we try to be creative and change things up every once in a while, you’ll experience the following every Sunday no matter what:
- friendly, welcoming people
- uplifting, encouraging music
- a practical, engaging sermon
- communion and prayer
What about my children?
We have an exciting children’s class for elementary-aged children, toddlers and a nursery to help you care for the younger ones. All volunteers are well-known and background checked for your peace-of-mind. Your children can expect a clean, fun, and loving place to belong!
Nursery (0 - 2yrs)
The nursery is offered for the duration of our Sunday Morning Worship service. Our volunteers are loving, our toys are clean, and we keep these young ones entertained, allowing you to focus in the worship service.
You will find our nursery to the right as you come through the front doors. The check-in area for your children is right there at the Welcome Center. If you leave your cell phone number, we can text you during the service if you’re needed.
Toddlers (3- 4yrs)
The Toddler room is offered for the duration of our Sunday Morning Worship service. Our volunteers are loving, our toys are clean, and we keep these young ones entertained, allowing you to focus in the worship service.
You will find our Toolder Room to the right as you come through the front doors. The check-in area for your children is right there at the Welcome Center. If you leave your cell phone number, we can text you during the service if you’re needed.
Elementary (5 - 11yrs)
Our volunteers will help you get acquainted with things when you arrive on Sunday! Our children’s class is lively and engaging, and our volunteers help every child feel loved and important. Your child will usually return with a craft or a great story to share
We invite elementary-aged children to join us for the beginning of our worship service!
You will check your children in before the service, and they can sit with your family until they are dismissed (usually before the sermon). If you leave your cell phone number during check-in, we can text you during the service if you’re needed.
Our children’s class is located to the right of the Worship center as you come through the front doors. You can pick your child up after service right where you dropped them off!
Middle & High School (12 - 18yrs)
Your preteens & teens are invited to participate in the entire worship service on Sundays. We currently offer a Student Life Group every other Sunday evening. See the calendar for upcoming meeting times.
